Hi all just got a police letter were you the driver (yes) passed this camera 1000s of times as well, hold my hands up to this, thought I had just gone over but not this much ,can I challenge this in anyway and if I do and lose will it cost me more? Thinking of wiping my mouth and accepting thanks for any input

What evidence could you produce to challenge it? I suspect "I thought I might have been over the speed limit but not by as much as this" won't get you very far so sadly it sounds like a SAC to me (unless you've been on one in the last 3 years in which case it's 3 points).smashy said:
No course for me done one 2 and a half years ago ...re challenging Calibration or something ,who knows what they get away with.
I feel your pain but unless you've got really good evidence I think you're wasting your time (and probably money) with a challenge; unfortunately it sounds like taking the 3 points is your best (least worst?!) option. I got caught recently too (37 mph though, so you win 
). It sucks to be honest as it's the first time in 17 years of driving I've been caught and I am normally so strict on 30 mph areas. Just distracted on this occasion, so fair cop and have taken it on the chin. I understand why you would ask the question though.
