Insurance Question Question?

Ok, on re-insuring the bikes I try Swinton, go through the usual load of Q's, get to the "any previous accidents" bit, I give the usual for the last 4 years answer,
"yes, hit in the rear, tp at fault, all costs recovered",
"Any injury claim made?"
"No, Aygo hitting Jag at low speed, not going to result in whiplash"
"What was the cost of the claim?"
"£840 was the amount I received"

So far as usual.

Then
"What was the cost of the third party damage?"

And as I have no idea or really care I told him I don't know, why would I?

But he was insistent I made a guess?

I tell him once again I'm not an insurance assessor but still he asks
At this point I end the call as i can't be bothered any more.

Is this a new practice? (went to Adrian Flux, never got asked?)

Me: yes the car has a stainless steel exhaust (on the car when I got it)
AF who fitted it and what are their qualifications
