Austrian Speeding Ticket
Discussion
The other day I got a speeding ticket from Austria - fixed camera I think - some four months after the event.
There's no translation with it but it's addressed to my name and address but , very specifically, it details a sate of birth after my name which is 21 years after I was born.
Anyone had any experience of one of these?

These fines are enforceable - but collection is associated with cost
Austrian/German fines are often sig lower than here or in some Mediterranean countries
what's the ticket - i.e. if it's worth less than 100 quid and enforcement poss. costs 200 they won't bother
if it's worth 3 k and enforcement costs 200- do the Maths
yes and they ll keep your offence on file for some time so if you enter Austria they might enforce it then....
