Crazy Campaign for 20 mph Speed Limit

[bad company]

I live near Sudbury, Suffolk and just read about this in my local newspaper:-

http://www.eadt.co.uk/ea-life/traffic-calming-call...

I don't understand why these muppets think reducing the speed limit to 20 will reduce emissions. The opposite is true.

[HantsRat]

"He said a 20mph zone, a speed camera and vehicle activated signs, as well as the county council moving the household waste and recycling centre, should all be considered."

2 key words from that article... SHOULD and CONSIDERED

He then started a petition with a link to '20's Plenty'.
