Hi all, I had an accident claim with an ongoing injury claim for a few years now. My solicitor has since left the firm dealing with the claim, so it's making the situation a lot more frustrating than it needs to be.

I want to change solicitors, does anyone have any recommendations on who I can change to etc? This is my first time, I have a small back problem which was the result of being hit from standstill at 50mph.

The fees will be preserved, most likely on the basis of an undertaking by the new solicitors. It's quite a common occurrence.

A few years ago? Unless your solicitor has had an acceptance of liability from TP insurers or has issued proceedings then it's highly likely you are too late! Sorry.

Case went in my favour last week after 1.5 years, full liability accepted by them and full payout of excess and damage/compensation to myself/insurers.

Not the case at all. You can claim for Personal Injury for up to 6 years from the date of incident.....

You might want to ignore this.

Absolutely. In fact, I'd say DO ignore this!

I'm not just lying for whiplash, it's actually a back injury. I had a motorbike accident in 2013 and didn't claim then but however noted it had caused an injury to my back but I didn't want to pursue it as I thought it may just be a one off ache. A lorry hitting me from behind has brought up the issue again, and I'd like to at least get my therapy paid for, if anything.
