Do electronic licenses mean the end to dvla revocations?
Discussion
My understanding of (none medical) DVLA licence revocations is they are often as a result of a court appeareance (or an unknown court hearing), drivers getting penalty points and not knowing, and as such not sending their licence off for endorsement. Essentially known as "expired substantive" licences.
Now considering you dont send a licence back to DVLA anymore for endorsement, does this mean this will become less common?
Also, to my knowledge, even though it's all now electronic, you still have to "apply" for a licence back after a disqualification, or the licence is still not a valid one?
