looking at a shell with chassis no. how to get V5?
Discussion
In a word no. Who is to say that that chassis no already exists on a rebuilt car. If you know with certainty that this is not the case you'd have to rebuild the car and get an MOT based on the chassis no and then apply for an age related plate. You could hit problems as there is a points system based on how much of the original car is left. Sure to be more info on DVLA website.
Op is trying to get the V5 rather than register it...
Can the OP not fill in this form;
https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploa...
And in section 3 explain the situation?
Irrespective of which details on how to register it are here;
https://www.gov.uk/vehicle-registration/reconstruc...
(let me google that for you OP...)
