Error on Grant of Representation
Discussion
I've just received the Grant of Representation as I am the executor of my late fathers' estate. Unfortunately his address has been recorded incorrectly (missing the first letter of the village).
Is it best to return these and get them reissued correctly, or will the mistake not be an issue in dealing with his affairs (which are pretty much limited to the straightforward sale of his house).

It is an obvious typo - and they will of course re-issue, I'm wondering whether (given that it is so obvious) whether I need to bother - i.e. further down the line will a conveyancing solicitor refuse to deal with me because of the mistake, or will they simply ignore it (or possibly not even notice!)
In my recent experience the probate office have been very quick at issuing the grant, once HMRC have got off their arses and done the bit that I'd paid them £78k to do.
For both my late mother and father, the grant arrived within a one-week turnaround.
I'd simply get them to re-issue the grant. For the short delay, it could save hassle - you simply don't know whether some banks/companies or other public bodies will refuse to accept the grant with the typo.
