I know there is a rule that if you get 6 points within 2 years of passing your test then you lose your license but does this apply if you pass further tests?

I'm asking as I passed my car test over 20 years ago but I've recently passed the full bike test, am I limited to 6 points overall or 6 for the bike and 12 for car?

The probation period for new drivers is 2 years from when their first test was passed.

If you passed your [car] driving test 20 or so years ago, your probationary period has long since passed and you have the full 12 points to play with.
