MIB vs CUE (Insurance)

Hi

Last year I had a non fault accident which my insurer recovered all cost for. They informed me of this in January.

I have recently bought a policy online for my daily drive and had it refused as the broker is saying I have an open/not recovered claim on MIB/CUE and have provided false details,My previous insurer has sent a screengrab of the CUE showing that they recovered costs and the non fault claim is closed.

What can I do to get the MIB updated with the correct details?

Ring them up? They were very helpful when I bought a car which incorrectly had a Cat C marker.

I wasn’t aware they’d speak to individuals? If so that’s great I’ll search for the details
