The wife had one a few months ago, sent hers to Scotland, and came back within a week or so. I guessed having to send it off was some scam to keep people in work in Scotland.

I got one more recently, and mine has to be sent to Leeds.

No idea why they have to have the license, just to send it back, when they have it electronically. Like I said, must be to keep someone in work, at least for mines its keeping someone in work in England.....
