Which motorbike insurance for non-UK residents in the UK?
Discussion
Hello,
this is my first post in PistonHeads!
I have been living in the UK since September 2014, so it's less than 5 years and I cannot be considered a permanent resident.
I have a UK registered motorbike, a UK driving licence, and I'm in need of advice on which insurer will accept that I am not a resident. Not many do!
Many thanks and best wishes,
Claudia

Insurers need to know how long you have continuously lived in the UK. This needs to be the date from which you've lived here as a permanent resident up to now and not including any gaps in residency of 6 months or more.
For you, the answer is simply "September 2014". Don't over-think it.Forums | Speed, Plod & the Law | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
