The pictures not entirely clear but he certainly appears to be parked on the corner, not quite as badly as that Renault but ttty parking nonetheless IMO.

If it wasn't the case, every car in the area that had snow on it would have received a ticket.

Someone most likely complained about its parking and the council sent someone round. In the previous months, the regular wardens probably weren't too bothered, saw it had a permit and walked on by.

If the photos hadn't been cropped, it wouldn't have been newsworthy!
