Have a couple of questions as just realised today that my cars MOT expires tomorrow when I got an email reminder from a cartaxchecking website I used last year to see when the tax was due, I'm meant to be using the car tomorrow evening but I'm unsure wether it expires on the day or not?

Tbh in 2015 I unwittingly drove around for a couple of monts after a failed mot and had no pulls living in London but 3 years on perhaps they have better enforcement?
I'm going to book in it next week when I can get some time off work, I don't think it's a continuous offence?
Thanks.

At midnight on the date of expiry.
So at the instant the 21st becomes the 22nd it will turn into a pumpkin.

Yes, at the end of the day of expiry. Meanwhile, I'm just wincing at £535 VED for a year. Ouch.

Thanks, that's put my mind at rest somewhat, I should be back home by 9pm tomorrow so nothing to worry about.

It is a bit galling paying £500 per year, especially considering in the last year I've driven it less than 2000 miles frown
