Finding a missing person - possibly arrested...
Discussion
Looking for some guidance. A good friend hasn't been seen since Monday and the last time he looked at his phone was Tuesday at 9.30am - he also didn't leave any food out for his dog etc which is massively not like him (he's on his phone a lot, loves his dog). The individual involved has been getting into silly scrapes with the local police stemming from a very nasty divorce, other times they've phoned me to let me know he's in custody - but this time nothing, and apparently they can't divulge anything to me. It's just if he's not there I'm extremely concerned for his well being. Any ideas?
File a missing persons report.
Had to do that for a pal once. Police weren't that interested (was overseas, 20-something visitor goes missing, fair enough), but I insisted. They reluctantly take details and do a search. Been arrested for assaulting a police officer. Had to quickly backpedal on my "Oh, that's fantastic news" response.

I took the good advice of using 101 - sadly he hasn't been arrested. Re social media - I've posted on his FB wall asking if anyone's seen him.
Ouch, that's hard, one of the few times you'd hope he HAD been arrested.Hope he turns up. Anything us lot can do to try and help?
