Mobile mobile speed camera vans

[sue20]

Driving down the M5 today came across a camera ‘safety’ van. Everyone was slowing as they passed as though it was measuring speeds on the move along the motorway.

Can they do this? Do they do this? Or, was it just en route to a location?
