End of June I will be trailer-ing a road-registered car to France and back for an event. What do I need in paperwork to satisfy customs on both sides and any other interested parties?
AFAIK the V5C is the only thing they might be interested in, if they even bother, I've taken a racecar out & back again & they only asked "What's in the trailer? " & "Where have you been? "
+1 I've done it quite a few times with both Uk and European registered cars on trailers and nobody has ever asked for any paperwork. Just the usual banter about were you have been or going to. I always carry some documentation just in case. It will all change after Brexit no doubt.
