I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this but I am hoping someone can help. I am currently looking at a mid terrace property where the only access to the back (pedestrian or vehicular) is for loading and unloading of delivery vehicles only. I would only need to use the back for keeping a wheelie bin (there is space outside belonging to the property for kstorage of the bin) but it would need to be taken out through the lane of the adjoining property. The neighbour has a reputation for being an awkward bd when he wants to be so I was wondering if legally a wheelie bin could be classed as a delivery vehicle.
The property is in Scotland.(not sure if that would make a difference.

Thanks for any help.

No the bin wouldn't be a vehicle, but I don't see how you pulling it couldn't be a pedestrian.

Moot. The OP said "... the only access to the back (pedestrian or vehicular) is for loading and unloading of delivery vehicles only".

You'd be loading your rubbish for delivery to the dump, surely?

I'd avoid full stop if the neighbour's a known pita...

Technically a wheelie bin is a vehicle.

Just as a bowl is a vehicle for soup, a wheelie bin is a vehicle for rubbish, but I think we can safely say the restriction in question is with regards to the motorised kind.
