I have a very concerned friend I said I would post here on behalf of him to get the opinion of PH
Basically he was driving, ‘claims’ he was getting tailgated by a BMW so at the traffic lights went into the right hand turn lane and tried to get in front so he had a space between him and the BMW, long story short the car at the front sped up and for some stupid reason my mate drove on the other side of the road, (past a car who was in the right hand turn lane on their side) and got in front
He’s worried because there is CCTV in the area and the car none of the cars were best pleased, he doesn’t think there were any dash cams but only been driving for like a year.
Reckon anything will happen? I told him it is classed as dangerous driving and now he’s pooing himself

Yep. OP has form. The only other posts on PH are on the thread below. Yet another bad driving incident and worried about being prosecuted because it was being filmed on a dash cam. Oh and that was "asking for a friend" too

No mate I drive all over the country 90 K a year I had an unbelievable indecent in central London I discussed ir with a couple of Black cabs drivers afterwards and they said I would be alright I did not believe them and ages have passed and no come back even though everybody knows it is on the cameras !
I see things all the time things have happen to me the only thing that gets you are speed cameras unless you have committed a serious crime
Now lets all be honest I told you it was me now stop pretending it was a mate and not you !
