Empty, dry road 4 lanes wide. It was perfectly safe. My choice to take the risk too. I’ve done that section, jct 11-10, many times at that speed. Not sure why I tripped it that day.
Pepipoo is advising it’s 3 points and £100 so that’s fine for me.

Interesting as I'd heard that hadecs will catch people driving at over a (true) 90mph even when a reduced limit is not showing. I always slow to 70 for them just in case.Only question is what the outcome will be? £100 and 3 points or worse?

HADECS is active in the bristol area at 80 plus seen a number of tickets for 82mph.TX.
