Insurance NCB question

Just got my renewal documents through and they’ve more than doubled the previous year’s quote after an accident my partner had in March with a total claim of £5k.

My question is can I transfer the NCB from one car to the other if I’m the policy holder on both cars? Details below

Car A (involved in £5k claim) : owned by me, 0 NCB after accident. New quote as single car on website without NCB is £2k

Car B : vehicle on lease, 1 year NCB. New quote as single car on website without NCB is £1.4k

Can I transfer the 1 year NCB from Car B to Car A? This brings Car A down to £1.4k as well.

Car A mainly driven by partner and Car B mainly by me

I just sorted my insurance on our Car A with maximum NCB discount applied and a relatively cheap car.. I need to buy a second car which is considerably more to insure but it will have 0 NCB discount..

I was wondering the same to switch the discount across.
