If the driver admits they done it, they should pay out in full.

But as the driver just drove off and didn't mention it to anyway it seems less likely he'll admit it and you may find it an uphill struggle to convince them their driver is who did the damage.

DPD inspect the vans every few weeks so if there is corresponding damage it will help your case.

May be worth calling the local depot and telling them you have CCTV of their driver damaging your car (accidentally) if they don't want to play play you'll forward CCTV to your insurance.
