You know that moment when you crest a rise and it takes a nanosecond to register the scamera and hit the anchors ? Thats when I checked and saw 80 on the dash....
Yeah I did that last year, still got clocked at 105mph though
was thinking of asking for the pic just to see how high the back end was under braking but decided against it. Was lucky to avoid a ban, ended up 6 points and £400 fine, not to mention the hefty lawyers bill. I now drive like Miss Daisy Sorry to hear that OP - hopefully you'll be OK.
I used to use the M3/M25/A3(M) at least once a week, and always found the A3(M) part much quicker than the motorways because they've got cameras!
And given how the M25 from J11 to J10 is always b*ggered with a 40/50 limit these days I tend to use A roads instead - they don't have fixed "revenue generation devices" either.

Got caught on the A3 just after It turns into a (M) heading South.
Nice picture of me looking very relaxed in my car in lane 1 but doing 85.
3 points and £100 fine.
Plus now increased insurance costs.
Wouldn't mind but the idiot police found my motorcycle 10 months after it being stolen. Called me to tell me what dodgy estate it had been found on and to get my skates on as it wouldn't stay there long.
So I risk myself going to get it but it was gone when I got there. Found with false plates so obviously being used for no good.
Found it but couldn't be arsed to secure it.
Mind you if it had been there, I bet they'd have nabbed me for false plates, no MOT or tax etc.
