The guided bus way which was to allow buses to travel into Cambridge un fettered by other traffic is to get various speed limits following bus accidents
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-cambridgeshi...

Why 30 - isnt 20 plenty for a bus?

A cyclist died in this collision

There is already a speed camera on the bus way but it hasnt been used
(so is there any point having a speed limit)

What are the safety issues with the bus lane that ends up with collisions?
Will the speed limit resolve these?

The speed limit may help reduce collisions.

It won't fix the number of cars and lorries that mistakenly end up on the busway, or the £36m of repairs the thing needs after only a few years of operation. That's after the thing overran its construction timescale and budget by a hideous amount.

Speed limit will not stop the endless amount of cyclist tts from just cycling where they want, without looking in the hope "the other person" will spot them and stop.

That's my initial thoughts too.... ''Cyclist died in this accident'' right under a massive sign saying buses only with a cycle path clearly visible and separate from the roade. Only sympathy is towards the driver of the bus.
