Criminal Behaviour Order. Information in the public domain
Discussion
The are a local bunch of scabs, who have been pissing off our village for some years. They gob off, the are unkempt, they litter, and shoplift. I decided to do something about it, and wrote to my local MP (Dennis Skinner) In fairness to him his efforts in response have been brilliant. He wrote to the police and District Council on my behalf, and has forwarded me their responses.
It has come to light that a number of them are being issued with CBO's. There has been a Public Spaces Order in place, which has done sweet FA. When chatting to a copper who called me he says that now fines can't be ignored, they will escalate to court, and typically 4 fold (£400) If unpaid it will simply get passed to Bailiffs.
The ringleader, a she-beast called Tanya, specifically has one, and the District Council says that if she ignores the order she will be hauled to court, and risks imprisonment.
I'm aware that they are limited to where they can now kick about, so at least they're now largely out of sight. I would be keen to know what the order states they are and aren't allowed to do, and where they are allowed to be.
I'm not really one for snitching, but if it helps kick this crowd in to touch and stop being a blight then bring it on!
Does anyone know if such information is available to view in the public domain anywhere?
