Someone hit my car today whilst it was parked. Police Ambulance called etc. no further action from Police, driver and passenger signed off as okay.

There's no question of liability. My car was legally parked and she said she was distracted whilst looking down - only been driving 4 months.

Her insurance company have text me asking me to call them saying they will offer me a like for like loan car (upto a specified daily value) and will repair or pay the write off value.

Should I do this or am I better going through my own insurance? It's a company car and have to do right by the company but my gaffer has said may as well take them up on the offer as the liability is clear. I'm just checking there's no downsides.

My insurers can't speak to me until Monday as the office is closed. All the can do is collect my car to a compound but as it's outside my house, I can't see the point.

Plenty of threads on this kind of thing and the general opinion seems to be go with the other party insurer.
It's what I did a year or so back when in similar circumstances and all worked out fine, can't think of any negatives.

A few years back I was also in the same situation and went through my insurer - ended up in the hands of an annoying accident management company, an expensive replacement car etc. etc. More hassle, more worry. Just let the other party insurer sort it out as it's in their interests to make things as smooth and hassle free for you.

Yes, I'd go straight to the other insurer too.

I've been through one of those "annoying accident management companies that made everything more expensive" experiences and would try to avoid doing it again!

Agree. Go through the other insurer but tell them its a company car. You might want to make a point of it needing to be done at a manufacturer approved place to maintain warranty.
