Resurfaced Road Gatso

There is a digital Gatso camera a few miles away from me, 30mph limit; they resurfaced the road a couple of months back, including repainting all the road markings, except the calibration markings for the camera. Does this mean that the camera is now invalid until the markings are reinstated?

Unfortunately not.

The timing marks were introduced to make it easier to undertake the required secondary check.

It's a bit more involved, but this check can (and is permitted to) be carried out without any markings on the road surface.
