That’s the only good thing that was mentioned. The rest basically did not sound much use and I wonder how much it was going to cost? What the expected benefits were and how they were defined?

There's been a need for such a review for some time. Indeed, there's a dire need for all police responsibilities to be reviewed.

The government will muck it up though. Most government reviews are there to prove the efficacy of what has already been decided, regardless of facts.
