Had a bump 2016. Went to court and found in MY favor (non fault) 2018.
Just got insurance from another company.

Logged onto company i had a bump with (for proof of no claims)
And its still showing online as my fault, so only 4 years no claims.
I have put 9+years no claims for new policy as i was told i would get my no claims back.
Should i get all my no claims from before bump back?

Number of years is irrelevant.

You've had a bump.

Not when it comes to no claims bonus it isn't.

Even though you won the case, have your insurers got back the money they paid out on the claim? That's the only thing that matters.

Indeed. Once it's settled in your favour you should get your NCD back. Happened to me many years ago. Someone reversed into me two days before my renewal. Worse still - it was the first year I would have been eligible for a protected NCD. Discount was suspended and I was left over £900 out of pocket, but once it was settled I got my NCD reinstated and the difference back.

Yes. I got a cheque for my excess back from my insurance company a few months after court. So I would think they got what they paid out. I was told when monies, are refunded the claim is settled.

I have had similar happen twice.

Once, when the other driver lied to his company about the accident he had caused. That took some battling by post (1980s).

The other time was when my wife had an accident (her fault) in her car, on which we are both insured, but I reported it by phone to the insurers because she is profoundly deaf. They managed to get it down as my fault. It came up when I renewed on another car, different company, 5 months later, and I received a "you've lied to us" letter a week later. I protested to my insurer. It took me and my insurance company a good year, and about 5 letters on their part, to get the CUE database changed. The CUE database is where all accidents are recorded and it is checked by all insurers every year.
