Bus parking in a bus stand and getting a ticket

As a PSV operator and driver my local council has put a ticket on one of my minibuses while it was parked in a bus stand and refused the appeal. The contravention code is 47 which means no parking except buses.
when you take your PSV test the only place your allowed to stop is a bus stop or stand.
The PSV licence covers buses and coaches because they are both PSV vehicles.
Coaches can also use bus lanes the only exemption is when the sign has the word local or local buses on which means that only local buses on a registered bus route can use them
Despite 2 emails and 5 phone calls the parking department at the council won’t supply me with the legal reason why.
Anyone else had this experience.

I wasn’t going to waste my time as it would cost me more than the ticket. I wrote to the ceo of the council telling them it’s an illegal ticket he pinged it back to parking and then ran out of time. Now it’s a debt and I cannot appeal it.
Over the last 6 years I have had approx 6 tickets all getting cancelled. Every day these bus stands are all ways used by coaches

Did the bus stand say "buses" or "local buses"? If the latter then perhaps a problem?of the driver); and

Clearway regulations are different; there a "bus" is defined as being run to a published timetable, and stopping is allowed only for 2 minutes max to allow passengers to (dis)embark.
If you tell us where the ticket was issued then Google may be able to provide us with the signage to compare against TSRGD.
Sorry I forgot to add the sign only said no parking except buses. I know that had the word local buses been on the sign then only buses on registered bus routes can use them. I have told the council this and provided a government web site that has the definitions of words relating to signs

I drive a Charity 16 seat minibus.I am alowed in bus lanes, EXCEPT where it states local ( which is rather a vague restriction as it is a 'local' charity lol) IF the wording on the sign were to say scheduled buses only, then it is clear. AND i have dropped off in bus only stops, becasue by defintion Ith e vehicle is a bus.
Next time get onto pepipoo and post this in the council section OR still get onto pepipoo and post it in the flame pit, as it is not a current case. The bods on there will in most cases put you right and give you ammo you can quote at a tribunal for next time. Once the council see this they usually back down. It is the snowflakes who roll over and pay up on dubious tickets like this and in the PPC sector that keep these buggers in business

Twice I went to the parking shop (its now closed and its now operated within the town hall) and the manageress used to cancel the ticket.
Then a couple I used to write across the ticket its a bus and they would be cancelled on the one before last they cancelled the ticket on goodwill saying I could use the bus stand but not in the future.These 2 bus stands are every day bus coach operators.
I tried contacting them to ask why always ignored.
Regarding whether my bus was on a registered bus route the stand has to have the words Local buses in black across the sign this one does not.

He has agreed that the sign would have to have the word local buses on to
