insurance - fully comp on any other vehicle

Hi, do any insurance companies offer fully comp on ones car and fully comp on any other vehicle (as opposed to only 3rd party) ?

Try Hiscox, or Chubb

Hiscox do on my policy. There is a limit on the value of the vehicle you are driving, something around £300k I believe.

A number of companies do:
- Hiscox and Chubb as above
- Zurich and Aviva as well I think

details will vary - but it is not cheap and may have some limitations...

my chubb insurance is any driver, any age on my cars / insured (me & wife) on any car fully comp.

The Adrian Flux option is one of the few where a normal policy can then have this added on:

otherwise, the companies who do are basically providing Private Client insurance policies

Literally just did this while on the phone to Adrian Flux. Cost about £30 with a payout up to £20,000 or something.

Get Aviva Plus car insurance, and they will allow you to drive another vehicle fully comp for 5 days at a time.

You have to log into their web site, and give the registration, otherwise it is only covered 3rd party, and there is a limit of £50k for the value of the vehicle, so no borrowing your mates Bugatti!
