Pulled over - what info can the police wrt reg/license no?

Got pulled over the other day, it's a fair cop guv, bang to rights innit, was going pretty quick down an empty dual carriageway with an unusually low limit (40) in a unfamiliar place - didn't see the signs so poor work on my part.

Got 'reeducation' I think it's called but the guy was pretty sound and let me off with a verbal warning. Crawled home at or under the speed limit the whole way.

Anywho I was wondering if police can see if I'd been pulled over for speeding in the past and let off with a verbal? Is this connected to license number or reg number at all? Obviously they can check for points etc I was wondering more about informal warnings. As it happens i reckon I've only been pulled over three or four times in about 15 years driving and have a clean license.

Just idle curiosity really!

They can through radio I believe. It'll be on the PNC or wherever they get their info from.

You'll have passed the attitude test, best way to get out of speeding fines.

I sincerely doubt it, since car registration doesn't tell you who's driving...

In theory with way more digging than anyone would do yes. In practice never going to happen unless there was some reason for the officer to positively want to draw attention to the car or you.

If you have no "form" its highly unlikely any details will be recorded.
Its a criminal intelligence system so unless you are a criminal are associating with criminals there are more important things to do

If you weren't issued any paperwork or reported for any offences then you will be fine.

A verbal warning for speeding is not recorded on PNC against either a person or car and forces don't hold intel about that kind of thing.
