A female director of a Limited company, in control and registered as a director on Companies House in their married name, is that same person legally allowed to sign court-legal papers in their maiden name.
They only changed name by marriage/divorce so I fail to see why they cannot. It's not like a name change to avoid something and it would be rather sexist if they couldn't.
