Signed new Car lease but no car available

Afternoon all
Hopefully someone can help me with my current situation regarding a new car lease deal.
At the start of Jan 2020 I agreed a new car lease with a reputable online broker.
I signed all the paper work, passed financial check, paid the processing fee and chose the colour, (I had a choice of 3, Metallic black, grey or metallic white).
Everything rushed through as it was a limited deal. All done within a few hours and I’m told the car is now secured for me and I can expect delivery first week of march 2020.
I sent them an email this morning asking if they had a more precise delivery date, A few hours later I get a call to say they do not have a car for me.
"Unsure why but BMW do not have one", is what I have been told.
Where do I stand in a situation like this?

Ideal Outcome is to get the deal I signed up for. If the tables were turned and I wanted out the lease I'm sure there are penalties for breaking a contact.
Sounds like they messed up - this was a stupidly low cost deal with a lot of people trying for it - I think it was well under £5k over 2 years.
Likely they have just been told by their supplying dealer they were never allocated one.
I would help if you could provide a bit more context re the communications as you have only quoted (part) of one line of their response.
This is the reason I avoid brokers for leases and go direct to the dealers fleet dept - just too many links in the chain (manufacturer, main dealer, broker and finally you).

Broker has said they can no longer get me the agreed car from BMW. When pushed for more info I was told that they do not yet know what has happened and they need to go away and look into it.Likely they have just been told by their supplying dealer they were never allocated one.

They offered to try and find me an alternative car, not a BMW 2GT. no discussion on pricing of alternative cars yet.
Seriously they have done you a favor the m-sport looks nice but the suspension is hard a crashy for such a big PPL carrier.
Best off with a sport or nicely spec SE/lux.
Ask for your cash back, go to BMW dealer and get a deal and you can even have the m-sport if looks over ride are really that much of a deal breaker.

As has already been said, the dealer had a batch of vehicles with additional support for the funder. This deal has gone live to brokers on a first come first served basis and your broker hasn't managed to grab one for you in time.

Get the admin fee refunded back to you.
Tell them in a polite way that you're not happy with the situation because you were told a car had been secured. Also credit check undertaken which has left an imprint on your credit report. You may get a positive response back, but highly unlikely.
Move on and don't use that online broker again.
Find another good car lease deal.

Then where is the car? I work in fleet sales and know how quickly vehicles can go and have had to tell brokers there are no vehicles left when orders are submitted. It's even worse if you're doing the finance via the manufacturer and you run out of vehicles and have people going through underwriting at that time
There is no car. Turns out someone dropped the ball at the leasing company and didn't send the finalised paperwork to BMW. The are going to see what deals they can offer me at "cost"
The deal was good - £168.50pcm ( tinted glass and metallic paint as cars already in pipeline) £1100 down. 8k miles 2 years deal. so about 16% of the retail price
