Firms operating in flagrant disregard to the rules

If you were unlucky enough to be moving house in the middle of this you might regard it as essential that the people who collected your furniture from your old house, delivered it to the new house.This morning I've seen 2 removal vehicles with the cabs stuffed with staff.

As for the double glazers you don't know how they operate. they may be doing so in a perfectly safe manner.
Be careful about jumping to conclusions.

Its really difficult, we are in double glazing, but we only do trade supply and or commercial/ new build. We shut on Tuesday as did every decent firm that i know of.This morning I've seen 2 removal vehicles with the cabs stuffed with staff.

Or are you suggesting supermarkets and deliveries should also be stopped. Because they will of course carry pretty much the same risk.
Some pubs are definitely going locally, I sincerely hope this causes them licensing problems in the future but doubt it.
Local pub to me had a big party on the Friday before closedown. Thankfully I didn’t partake as it seemed bloody stupid. Amazingly now there is a big cluster of cases in our small town... funnily enough including at least 5 people I know who were at the pub.
Some are friends, and I include them within my statement that people are fking idiots!

I suspect this is due to the need to replace broken panes, but that'd would probably be too difficult.

Multiple people in the cab isnt the best idea, no, but removals companies are still allowed to operate if it's necessary:

I fail to see how people crammed into the cab of a removal vehicle is justified by the need for a removal. It is quite simply not acceptable at all. As for the double glazers you don't know how they operate. they may be doing so in a perfectly safe manner.

And then what? Only care furniture that is 2m long?Just travel individually.
The government permits them to carry on working, they have nothing they can claim against if it's still permitted work.
A lot of people arent following the actual published government advice, and taking it on themselves to come up with their own rules. Lots of people sneezing and then self isolating despite no mention of it on the NHS website.
Not saying it's not good to go above and beyond when possible but maybe putting unnecessary strain if the services we require as a society cannot function.

We've got this going on in our Cheshire village too - they've been very active, charging, so not in any way trying to keep a low profile, around the village for 3 weeks now. Been just the same this last week, often with groups of blokes standing around laughing and joking together. I'm not aware of any campaign to get them stopped - although some of them want talking to about their driving.
"Disregard to the rules". That is splendid (confined to) barrack room lawyer terminology (the term should be "disregard of the rules". ) Despite appearances, my point here isn't a grammar point! There's a certain type of pseudo-legalese that (possibly, sometimes) seems to go along with a certain view of life.
Is this thread intended just as "OMG, look at these terrible people!" and "Something should be done!", or is it asking a question as to what is and is not permitted? I add that I am all for the crisis being taken with maximum seriousness, and for minimising activity that creates risk of virus transmission, but not everything can be or is banned.

We are (usually) a subcontractor and we stopped sites this week until the faculties on site or task can be adapted to allow it to continue.
