Went down a side road w/Northern Rail setting up road closed

So I had an incident where I was in preston last night before northern rail (i believe it was them) had properly set up at a bridge, they had a road closed sign but not covering the road just literallty on the edge of the road, which my satnav took me down and I didnt think too much of it as it was only on the side and nothing was fenced off, just a van parked at one side of the road, there was a taxi in front of me so I presumed it was a regular route, after I followed the taxi and passed the van there was a worker mention to me as i appologised for going through who said 'just to let you know, youve been clocked by a camera' going down a small side road of roadworks before theyd even set up! not speed related but due to them perhaps setting up for works on a bridge. I was wondering aside from a fine which i am not too concerned about, only going about 5-10mph, my concern is however the camera monitoring while they were settings up and the one worker who has made me somewhat paranoid, what are the Potential for points for that? Not bothered about the fine, there was no flash or no camera from what I could see, I dont know if they are reffering to a camera in the back of one of there northern rail vans or not. but the location was aquaduct street preston and presumably coinciding with bridge works - I actually visited back about 40 mins later because stuff like this plays on my mind, they had fully set up then and it was all cordened off with lighting, so obviously i wouldnt have gone through it then but when I went through earlier it was touch and go and didnt look like a roadworks sight - What are the chances of getting any points off this if its the council if its Northern rail operating on this? No camera or camera flash and the other workers I asked afterwards didnt seem that in the know of to weather I would incur any points off this or not. presumably some kind of temporary camera in this area ? Things like this play on my mind and if i went both in and out this route I am worried for the worst in a bad luck situation. What are peoples thoughts on this and the chances of me incurring any points? Any advice as I am kinda worried? This is all i can find on the situation (shown below is the location of the bridge, as well as the note i found on the council that northern rail are operating on it)

In a similar manner that using "text-speak" acronyms should be punished, if used anywhere other than when sending a text message?

Pic clearly shows "Network Rail". They deal with infrastructure.

If the road wasn't properly closed there's naff all you can be done for I reckon. Make a note of the date and time in case anything comes through the post and ignore it until that happens, if it ever does.

ETA, I just read the OP again. You ignored a "road closed" sign because it was only at the side and your sat nav took you that way? I hope you do get done, you muppet.

The road through my village is closed cutting one end off from the other (they're digging up just over half of it and a roundabout). The number of drivers moving cones and driving down the pavement to avoid the detour is somewhat silly. Its not just boy racers, old ladies, vans, the lot.

TIC is a colloquial abbreviation in common use, especially in the context of criminal matters.
i.e.not exclusive to text speak AFAIK IMHO YMMV

8 worked in our police ops room. One call was from someone on 999. He had got his car stuck in a deep flood. It was at a location we had been updated with and highways had closed the road with flood warning signs. I asked him if he had seen the road closed signs.
He had but decided to drive on anyway.
I then asked why he chose to drive into the floodwater.
No sensible reply.
In the end it cost him a recovery fee. Plus a new engine based on what he described when his car failed.
