Insurance cancelled
Discussion
So my brother got notice of renewal for his car which he agreed to, car was off the road but he thought best to continue policy anyway. Without him realising the broker switched his policy to another insurer who sent a solitary email asking for a digital signature for the credit agreement or something. He missed it and they subsequently cancelled his policy. He’s now marked as having insurance declined and this is going to hammer his premiums. Should he just suck it up or is there any mileage in challenging it?

If it can be demonstrated that it really was only one email, then yes. Having insurance declined isn't helpful. Are you sure, however, that they didn't also write to him and /or call him?
