Book by ex Met Commander serialised on Radio 4

As David Ball seems to have caused a reaction by referencing a BBC podcast about some police flakiness in Cardiff a few decades ago I thought I'd share a link to to a book by former Met Commander John Sutherland that's being serialised this week on BBC Radio 4. Tuesday's was about the harm Domestic Abuse causes.

I know some people like Derek Smith's tales from when he was a police officer and I think Monday's episode said all MPs should read this book, something that was done I think for the Secret Barrister's book Stories of the Law and How It's Broken.

I didn't hear all of Wednesday's but he references MPs calling the shots, when effective policing requires more than short term gains to help win an election, Boris at a Police training college anyone, and the furore over Drill music, something that I thought chimed with the IOPC looking at a video of an elderly chap being tasered being shared on social media by Wretch 32.
