Pulled over for no insurance.

So tonight randomly driving around to get out of the house I was followed for a while by a police van before the blue lights came on.
I just assumed I had caught his attention/he was bored/my 'boy racer' car.
Anyway he told me that I had no insurance to my shock and told me to get in the van for a 'chat'.
I tried checking myself on AskMid whilst in the van but it wouldn't load (working for anyone else?) Whilst he checked again over the radio.
They said it was coming back as unavalible IIRC which they said could be for a multitude of things.
I showed him my insurance on my phone via the online portal which satisfied him and I was free to go.
He advised I return home and give them a call in the morning which is fair enough.
So is askmid loading for anyone else? Won't load for my bike or car which both are fully insured as the direct debit came out today and they have both been insured since last November so this isn't a new policy.

It’s just spinning so possibly it’s down. You would hope that there was a back up for the police, maybe not. Either way they might end up having a busy night and no doubt someone will loose the rag and end up being arrested.
