Ok,
I was being investigated for a summary crime. The officer took a dislike to me, he was let's say unprofessional... for quite a while.
I raised it higher up, within a few hours he was gone. Sick leave for an unknown period... However he happened to finish the case just before he left. This case was reviewed, and referred to CPS for a decision by his manager (who you assume has his back).
In view of the person who made the case, should/can this case continue?

I belive the cps will only proceed if the is a chance of a conviction based on the evidence in the case, I was being investigated for a summary crime. The officer took a dislike to me, he was let's say unprofessional...

What were the outcomes of all your various points around bail, extensions etc.
I'm assuming that as you've manage to make progress and the officer who took a dislike to you is gone then you're looking for a steer on whether the case is still valid for follow up?
It will depend solely on the offence I would imagine. I am very much not a lawyer.
Good luck, but still think you need to engage in some proper legal advice. Then buy something with at least 2 turbos to continue membership

Also he never updates all these cases he has against the police, why?
I have been stopped and interacted with the Police multiple times and never had any issues, just be polite, listen and respond.
BTW I do no some police who are not fully there, but that is in any industry

Your "falling out" with the investigating officer will have no baring on the matter.
