Waiting for probate to go through at the minute. I know it's very slow because of covid.
Anybody got any idea of how long it is taking at the moment?
Been waiting 9 weeks now and it's normally about 4.

We got told it could take up to eight weeks when we started procedings three weeks back.

Depends upon how complex the deceased’s estate is.

Is there a property involved? Any overseas assets? Trusts?

My mother died last December and her estate still isn’t finalised and we’ve been advised that it should all be done by the end of August, so that should be a good eight months.

Obviously, COVID has slowed things down a little.

Just a property involved. Left between brother and sister, who are both excecutors of the will.
Shouldn't be any problems.
