A hypothetical question about the New Drivers Act

So, I passed my driving test on the 1st of October 2018 (no points or accidents yet, touch wood), which means I am no longer covered by the new drivers act.

I was wondering, what would happen if I was to now receive fixed penalty notices for offences at the end of September, totting me up to 6 points?

Would I lose my licence, as the offences were commited before I had it for 2 years, or would I be ok as the points would be applied after the 2 year mark?

You'd lose your licence, it's the date of offence that counts.

A bright, inquiring mind doesn't need a reason to wonder the answer to a question. I'd take it as a sign of intelligence. I believe that the opposite is also true...
