Personal injury claim

Couldn't think where else to put this.

Tripped on a pot hole on a main road and damaged my leg. What should i do.

You should definitely report it on FixMyStreet so the council repair it.

It was not clear from your original post.
But I guess we also don't know the circumstances to say wheter it was someones fault, or perhaps your own.

If you mean a main A or B road, contact Highways England.
If you mean a main-ish road in a town, then it's the local council who are responsible.

Any of the above posters may possibly be considering a claim if hitting a pothole had smashed their front wheel, punctured their tyre and deranged their suspension, even though one could suggest they should have been more aware and have avoided it.

No reason why you shouldn't claim if you had suffered an injury, loss of earnings etc through their lack of care in their statutory duty to maintain the roads and pavements.

Assuming the road has a pavement (it is a main road) perhaps you should ask yourself why you were walking in the road and not on the pavement?

Maybe if you hadn't titled the thread Personal Injury Claim, you may have got a bit more sympathy. But seeing your starting point is "how do I claim" expect to have the pith taken out of you.
