What is this vehicle with cameras on?

Just saw this heading north up the A1 sticking rigidly to 70mph.



Every time anyone caught up with him they slammed on the anchors as it looks like some kind of mobile speed trap with camera's and sensors all over it.

I pulled alongside and it has this logo on it. I assume it is doing some kind of survey of the road.




I bet he sees a lot of near misses and accidents...

Might have a digital sign in the back window and flashing orange lights when they are actually surveying

I think a two second internet search would have given you your answer.

And the colour of the stripes on the back give it away that its not traffic or police.

Yes, i am sure i could have found it on my own and not bothered coming to Pistonheads. Like most of the conversations on here!

As far as the stripes telling everyone it is not some kind of mobile speed camera, you might think so, but what i saw says you are wrong
