Got a PCM ticket - do I need to pay?

Hi guys,

My work main car park and overflow car park were full a couple of weeks ago so I parked in a little car park next to where I work which houses about 5 units (all on privately owned land). It was a Saturday and they’re all shut up so not exactly getting in anyone’s way.

Got home yesterday to a parking ticket from PCM saying I owe them £60. Weirdly it says my car is red although it’s blue which is weird. Do I need to pay or can I ignore it?

So much for helping key workers, sent a warden out specifically to a little car park on a weekend to ticket one car. Pathetic bds.

Post your info in the third person ie. never admit you were driving. They will advise on action. Add whether it’s a leased car as there’s a good get out. They’ll probably want photos of signage too.

TBH I'm sick of all this key worker bks in fact seeing people with such signs on their car is quite pathetic. OT I know.

I'm classed as a key worker too but 'til now have never mentioned it.

I’m not trying to weasel out of it, I’m asking if this is one of the companies that you can get away with ignoring. The key worker thing was tongue in cheek about how a company purposely send out someone to an almost abandoned industrial park to ticket one car. It’s a tad pathetic considering everything going on.

You know when you're in a hole, you generally stop digging when it starts getting too deep to get out.

On a more helpful note, what's the signage like there? That's normally the first point to check to start thinking about whether the ticket might be enforceable or not.

It’s kinda fun to keep digging seeing how easily irked people are on here. No disputing I shouldn’t of parked there, didn’t see any signs but then again I wasn’t particularly looking for one. Lesson learned.
