On the M1 last night, the speed was reduced for a few junctions with the reason of 'air quality'. I'd never seen this before and if successful I can see this becoming the norm.
Hopefully I don't get shot down for this, but as a petrolhead I'm not a fan!
Bloody disgrace. Another excuse to try and re-assimilate us into the "speed is bad" groupthink. Or actually - "cars are bad" groupthink. Very frustrating that this seems to have become the popular mentality
