What type of camera is this?

Does anyone know what type of camera this is? Tried to search but can't find anything like it. It's positioned just before a set of traffic lights, the road also goes from 40mph single to NSL dual carriageway so a lot of people tend to be approaching NSL speed before actually getting to the NSL zone so I'm wondering if this camera is designed to catch red light jumpers, speeders, or both, or possibly ANPR?

Not sure, but in Australia the latest thing is cameras to catch people on their phones. Could it be that?

Don’t know, obvs, but it’s got the height and the rough shape of a RedSpeed 2.0 which is currently going through Type Approval.

More police, less automated policing. I can be pissed as a fart with 15 dead hookers in the back and drive from Land's End to John O'Groats without a single worry (apart from running out of booze or hookers) as long as I don't speed. It's a joke.

But they are fixed and it will be on the various sat nav , Waze , Google maps database within seconds......... hopefully !
