Do I legally own an allocated parking space?

There is a large tarmac car park without any lines etc on it which is surrounded by houses apart from the entrance to it of course
On many of the house deeds surrounding it there is the wording - allocated parking space - and a dotted line on the house plans showing roughly where that space is in the car park
There are no measurements on the plans
So the question
Do any of the home owners legally own any part of the big tarmac area?

Register on the official Land Registry website, then download title deeds & also map. I think both are priced at £3 each.

I have a parking space and a garage. Both are marked red. Can you work out roughy where yours is based on the number of spaces from a landmark?

Almost impossible. Many Land Registry plans are at scales of 1:1250 or 1:2500, so the thickness of the red outline can sometimes scale at over 1 metre(!!!) Car parking spaces, as far as I know, are normally 5 x 2.5m.Boundary disputes can get VERY tricky, which is partly why they use such thick red crayons & no measurements.....

I'm in a slightly different situation to yours, but similar. If, as you say, the space is mentioned specifically in the deeds, as it is in mine, then you should own a part of the car park. In mine the spaces are marked. If the plan is correctly drawn, and many on LR are there days, the thickness of the line doesn’t matter. The outside edge of the line is the boundary. Boundary disputes can get VERY tricky, which is partly why they use such thick red crayons & no measurements.....
If you have access to the professional LR gateway or Landinsight, you can look at a map showing all of the titles and how they interlock. Compare with reality and they are surprisingly accurate.

Np signsBuilders owned it for first 10 years - council did not adopt it
