Covid test - any obligation to have it?

So the wife works as admin at a school^ and everyone now has to have 2 tests per week. As above is she obliged to do what they say or can she reasonably refuse it?
Pls don't hammer me or her for not performing her civic duty etc etc

The tests given to school employees are intended to be taken at home. Nobody is going to know whether your wife has taken the test or binned it, nor can they check. Whether that's the right thing to do ......Pls don't hammer me or her for not performing her civic duty etc etc

Not any more apparently. We were given kits for home testing on Monday, apparently we're going back to on-site testing from next Monday.And we'd just finished packing up all the testing equipment and stations too...

I’ve just used an antibody test kit (-ve) but it got messy as I held the spring loaded needle the wrong way so it punched a hole in the wrong hand into a vein. By the time it was all over the kitchen looked like an abattoir. All for a single drop of blue of.
Goodness knows what would have happened if a moron was to try to do it...

As ordinary Joe Public I had to argue on the phone to be allowed to do a 40 mile round trip to have a test.
I had just been in hospital overnight, and had developed symptoms two days later.
Needless to say the test was positive and I have been self-isolating since.
I am lucky and can work from home.
So come on teachers - please be grateful that the government are trying to protect you, and the little spreaders with whom you come into contact, and their families and relatives. You never know, you might just save someone from dying from the bloody disease.
Do what's right. That way we might not have another 100,000 dead by Christmas 2021.

I had to have a test to enter a certain F1 teams head quarters! To be honest it wasn’t much fun , they didn’t f
k about with the swab, it went right up my hooter , (along way) and it felt a bit uncomfortable into the next day . It was enough to make me think twice about going back in or sending a member of staff next time .
The workers there said we got lucky as we got the dude, apparently the lady is way less gentle
PS I did the covid antibody test and that little yellow thing that pricks your finger terrified me for 10 minutes till I built up the courage to press it, I know they don’t hurt but the anticipation is horrific !

I go into work every week or so (WFH the rest of the time) my company are getting tests for us to do the same. DIY test twice a week,
I’m all for it.
Although not 100%, it gives some reassurance to see others within bubble rules.
