How to tell when police “laid info to court”?
Discussion
Received a court hearing scheduled letter for offences not guilty of. Only date on letter is “date posted” which is over 7 months after police interview. No date on the attached police report and the witness statement was taken nearly 8 months ago. How can I tell if the police laid information to court within 6 months as I believe they are required to?

Probably but I can’t speak to them until next week and out of my mind worrying
I thought you weren't guilty? An awful, tragic case where a wrongful conviction probably resulted in death:

If you want an idea of what being on the end of false allegations may feel like you may want to read that book:

Failure to stop and careless driving
Both summary only offences, so absent any extraordinary circumstances 6 month rule should apply, the police seem to have been aware of the offences condsiderably longer then 6 months, so well worth looking at, but not a lot you can do until Monday as far as contacting them goes. Maybe AGT will see this and offer some defintive adviceAsk the magistrates clerk or at least one of his or her staff. They will have a record of it. I’m a bit out of it now but I believe the information will have been laid electronically using the courts system
If it’s out of time then write to the cps and point it out they will withdraw quietly
